GWS is executing a project to lay pipelines for transferring effluent water from the Gat Reservoir

These days, GWS from the Gaon Group is successfully carrying out a project for laying steel pipelines with diameters of 20″, 16″, 12″, and 10″ for transferring effluent water from the Gat Reservoir and, in the future, from the Beit Nir Reservoir for irrigating agricultural fields.

As part of this project, GWS is performing comprehensive specifications on the pipelines, including connection to the consumer, air valves and drainage, and integration with existing systems, all in accordance with the requirements of the project owner.

The company operates in coordination with the authorities and the professional entities. We are ready for any challenge!

Ofakim deviding line

Laying 16″ steel lines with a total length of 1,500 m including horizontal drilling with a diameter of 24″ under road 241.

Line connecting Hamat Gader station

On Ein Said St. – Laying of underground and overhead steel lines with a diameter of 20″ including intersections and crossings with a steel sleeve of 28″ diameter, dismantling of an old line and making specifications for piping.

Geniger Wastewater Treatment Institute

Carrying out earthworks and laying underground polyethylene piping in diameters 400 and 710 mm with a total length of 16,000 m including connections, specifications and sections.

Wastewater treatment plant project – Alon Tavor

Wastewater treatment challenges valves’ manufacturers in dealing with corrosive fluids and gases.

Alon Tavor wastewater treatment plant is even more challenging due to its handling of industrial wastewater. It is therefore understandable that Hakohav valves are leading in the facility for years.

Water supply to the south – Gilat station project

Butterfly valves of large diameter, centric and double eccentric, were installed at the Gilat station in the project of thickening the water supply systems from the desalination plants to the Negev.

The ability to adapt models, construction materials and coatings – places Hakohav (Kim valves) at the top of the suppliers in the field.

The opposite national carrier (HaMovil) – Site Zalmon

 Hakohav company is proud to be a partner in a historic project – the opposite carrier to the Kinneret.

At the Zalmon site of Mekorot, 36″ diameter needle valves were installed that are used to regulate the flow and pressure of desalinated water to fill the Sea of Galilee through Zalmon river.

Air conditioning systems in Beser Towers – Petah Tikva

Centric butterfly valves and Hakohav filters were installed in the challenging water cooling systems used by the central air conditioning systems of the four Beser towers, a residential and commercial complex with dozens of floors each.

 

Tavor Reservoir Project – Restoring water for agriculture

Centric butterfly valves were installed at the outlet of the Tavor Reservoir as disconnecting valves in the filter batteries before supplying the water for irrigation in the fields.

The owner of the facility – Mekorot, and the companies that produce the filtration systems, know that you can trust the valves of Hakohav.

Eastern conduit from Beit Shean to the Jordan Valley center

An eastern conduit from Beit Shean to the center of the Jordan Valley, the Tirzah Reservoir and from there the distribution of water for irrigation in the Jordan Valley.

Neot HaKikar – Tzin Bridge – Ofarim Reservoir

An international project. Due to the large height differences and the large working pressure, pipes with a large wall thickness of 16 mm were required in the lower part of the line.

Lines connecting water reservoirs – the Arava

A connecting line between Paran Reservoir and Tzofar Reservoir and a connecting line between Timna and Yotveta Reservoir.

In this line, 13.5 meter long pipes were laid for the first time.

Shafadan Tal-or line – Habesor river park

The Shafadan Tal-or line to Magen is part of the transmission system of the third line to the Negev where treated water is flowed to irrigate the Negev.

A connecting desalination line to Shraga reservoir – Western Galilee

A line connecting desalination line to Shraga reservoir is the first section connecting to the seawater desalination facility in the Western Galilee and establishing the water transmission system.

The project was carried out for: Mekorot

Type of piping: Trio-wrapped steel pipes, including sections of compression pipes, 80″ diameter

Karnei Shomron – Kidron river project

The project was carried out for: Mekorot

Elkana – Barkan connecting line

Expanding the reliability of the water supply to the communities located in Mount Samaria.

Connecting the water supply in Samaria to the national water system.

The route of the mountainous terrain posed a great challenge to the water line installers.

Water from Ha’Asi river to Merav fish pond – Kibbutz Shluchot

As part of regulatingthe supply of Ha’Assi river water to the fish ponds of Kibbutz Merav, a 710 mm level 5 mariflex line was laid, that will allow a regular and efficient supply of water to the fish.

Line connecting Nir Eliyahu Reservoir – drilling under road 6

The laying of the new line will enable the supply of sewage water to the farmers of Nir Eliyahu and the surrounding area.

Laying the new line involved precise horizontal drilling under Route 6.

Drainage line Yuvalim: Nir Galim Interchange – Ashdod

In preparation for the construction of a new interchange at the Nir Galim intersection near the city of Ashdod, a drainage line with a diameter of 900 mm was laid.
The work included digging in sandy soil at great depth and horizontal drilling under road 41.

The Handicrafts Department at Plasim produced floats made from 1000 mm diameter Merika piping for classified use by the Institute for Biological Research.

Connecting pumping station – threading a pipe in a steel sleeve – Atlit

In preparation for the expansion of a neighborhood in Atlit, works were carried out to establish sewage infrastructure in the neighborhood.
During the horizontal drilling, a steel pipe was driven at a very precise slope, inside which a Meriflex pipe with a diameter of 450 was threaded to transport the wastewater.

Upgrading sewage lines – smashing method – Moshav Ramot

In a project to upgrade existing infrastructure in Moshav Ramot, an upgrade was made to the sewage pipes in the Moshav using a unique “smashing” method, that allows the renewal of pipes without digging.
The new 225 mm Meriflex type line allows upgrading, expanding and repairing lines without digging while maintaining a normal life routine.

Copying line 42″- Beer Sheva

As part of the construction works being carried out at Ben Gurion University, Mekorot carried out the copying of the 42 steel line which runs along the route of the construction works.
The new 1200 diameter Meriflex line was welded by a team of skilled welders on behalf of Plassim Infrastructures.

Desalination plant Sabaha Eilat

Project to upgrade and expand the “Sabaha” desalination plant in Eilat of Mekorot.
Our company installed ten riders with a diameter of 1200 for Ofek Atarim 10, which is carrying out the project.

Brine line Intel-Ashkelon – Intel Kiryat Gat line

A new electronic chip factory was built at the Kiryat Gat Intel factory.
As part of the infrastructure preparation for the factory, a 450 mm diameter pipeline with a length of 15 km is laid between the Intel factory and the beach strip in Ashkelon.
The line is designed to absorb brine from the plant and transport it to the sea in drianage.

Migdal drainage line

In order to regulate surface runoff drainage in Migdal, a 1500 mm diameter Merikra pipe was laid throughout.

Establishment of an Intel chip factory in Kiryat Gat

A new electronic chip factory was built at the Kiryat Gat Intel factory.
As part of the preparation of the factory’s infrastructure, a 1200 diameter Meriflex pipe was installed that will be used to cool the advanced production systems in the factory.

Genigar Wastewater Treatment Institute

As part of the upgrade and expansion of Genigar sewage treatment facility, lines with diameters of 710, 400 mm with a total length of 10 km were laid connecting Genigar sewage treatment facility
to Afula sewage treatment facility.
The laying of the lines included many horizontal drillings and the crossing of streams, roads and railroad tracks.
The project was carried out under the ongoing professional supervision of the field service of Plassim.

Upgrading the main collector – Elad/Nachshonim interchange

Performing an upgrade to the main collector sewage line of the city of Elad, with a 1000 mm diameter pipe.

Sewage line road 431 – Rishon Lezion

The pipeline weldings were performed by a qualified and skilled team on behalf of Plassim Infrastructures.
