Special Products
Integrated jacking pipes enable laying steel piping while crossing highways without requiring road closure or traffic interruptions. The integrated solution consists of a concrete pipe, within which a steel pipe is cast. The integrated jacking pipe is then inserted into the ground. This solution combines the advantages of the steel pipe, which is capable of transmitting water at high pressures, with a concrete pipe, which bears the ground loads.
A steel pipe connected on-site using the bell-and-socket method with spherical bell and socket.
This solution enables quick connection of the socket to the bell while enabling slight rotations of up to 6°.
The process of connecting is quick, saving the effort needed to match pipe ends and using elbows.
High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) coating, 4 mm thickness.
The wrap features high mechanical strength, good resistance to rocks within the trench and it delivers an excellent solution for pipelaying in difficult terrain conditions. The wrap saves the need for flow concrete.
Heat-shrinking wraps, easily applied, for completing the Trio coating after the pipes have been laid and welded.
The wraps, manufactured in Canada by CANUSA, which is one of the world’s leading providers of solutions for laying steel piping, completing the “heads” and the accessories and materials for repairing malfunctions.
Steel pipes come in a standard length of 12.20 Meters.
In special projects, if ordered in advance, coated pipes can be provided at lengths of up to 14 Meters.
This enables the customer to save on transport costs, laying and welding costs – savings which can amount to up to 14%
Solutions by industry
A pipe with high mechanical strength, intended for carrying drinking water. The ends of the pipe are adapted to be connected by welding while ensuring the continuity of the inner concrete.
The inner coating meets the requirements of the Israeli standard TI 5207 and the American standard A.W.W.A – C205
The coating meets the requirements of the Ministry of Health TI 5452
The steel pipes have high mechanical strength and are connected by welding, which gives the line high resistance in harsh field conditions and prevention of leaks in the connectors.
The internal coating with alumina cement gives the pipe resistance to chemical attack and corrosion to sewer lines operating in drainage.
Manufacturing and quality assurance requirements are more severe and strict than API requirements.
The requirements of the standard include careful control of all production stages starting from the raw materials, the production process, welding, pressure tests and non-destructive tests, ultrasonic tests and X-ray tests and tests done in the metallurgical laboratory and include: chemical composition, steel strength and welding strength, bending, bending and more.
The factory has a prestigious certification to mark the products with the API monogram.
The pipes are produced with a seamless welding seam, and in the thicknesses defined in the tables as a schedule.
Quality and Standards
The Company invests heavily in compliance with the quality and safety requirements for pipe compliance with standards and specifications.
The quality assurance system meets the quality requirements and has been certified as compliant with these requirements by the highest level of accrediting bodies in the respective industries.
In the fuel industry – Middle East Tube Company Ltd. is compliant with the American Petroleum Institute (API) standards, and even exceeds these standards and certifications for gas supply.
In the water industry – all of the linings in pipes for use in drinking water are in compliance with Israeli Standard 5452.
Generally speaking, the Company complies with the requirements of the ISO 9001 Standard, through the Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.
